this looks aesthetically also in the original colours...

only wondering why the whole photo is on the UF page out of the middle, planned or bug?

Very nice - a scientific tribute of sorts, but quite beautiful even if we know nothing about it. The glass circle - I think this would look very nice without it (more moon-like maybe), but on the balance I am glad you left it in. I like the subtly subversive displacement of the image on the page :-)
