About This is our pet Shetland Sheepdog, Kuu. He is usually patient about my early morning photography, but obviously doesn't really understand what's going on. But we live and let live. He gets to smell all he wants, and I get to take photos.

Rog another shaggy dog story?

She has that "what you looking at?" look on her face

Hi Roger dear! What a wonderful dog you have!
I am heartbroken because mine, an English Cocker Spaniel named Max had a stroke yesterday and cannot stand on his paws.
Have been to the Vet yesterday ( it was holiday in Italy ) and will go back today.
I pray with all my might that he will be able to recover,
yours Antonella in tears....

Roger Williams   {K:84106} 12/9/2004
Yes, Antonella, he's a handsome beast. I'm very sorry to hear about your Max, though. The illness and death of pets is so hard to bear... all we can do is show them steady love and do our best for them. But dogs (unlike people) are VERY GOOD about doing the necessary rehabilitation, and often make remarkable recoveries. I do hope and pray this will be true for Max! Thank you as always for your kind comments. My own personal favourite recently is my fisheye photo of the pond... I much prefer it to the "gate" one you commented on.

What a lovely hound. Has lots of Ahhh factor this shot.

Thank you, Sarah. My mobile phone "toy" camera blows out highlights but in this case it gave Kuu his dazzling white ruff! He is a very clever dog. He's specially good at tricks involving food! The motivation is right, I guess...
