About about breaking her heart, it can almost make me cry...Just like before. It's yesterday once more. ( Lyrics from a song by Karen Carpenter). My grandson reading with a pair of old readers, trying to appear very grown up.

Del Metheny   {K:25369} 11/29/2004
I like the expression you captured. He looks totally absorbed in what he is reading. Well done. Del.

Ken Alexander   {K:3905} 11/29/2004
You captured his character really nicely, Rebecca. He obviously likes that book. To be picky, a little more sharpness around the eyes would make it even better.

Ditto to what every else has written in regards to this wonderful portrait. Usefilm should really post a "Get Caught Reading" project. This is one of the many great "reading" shots I have come across lately.

Rebecca Raybon   {K:26655} 12/22/2004
Thanks so much. Ciana. This is one of those rare moments when he would sit still. He does, however, read a lot. In fact, antique books was on his wish list for Santa, so I found some 1946 and 47 editions of Robinson Crusoe, Robin Hood, Tom Sawyer, Huck Finn and the Swiss family Robinson. He's already read Tom Sawyer, but he'll enjoy reading it again and have a collectable also. You have some lovely shot of children in your portfolio. Keep up the good work. A good children's photographer are hard to come by many times. Check out Pat Fruen and Trish McCoy's work on here. They're very good.
