About Subject background: Garfield, former superstar in the worlds of comics, ends up on a rope hanging at the fair in Nuremberg. Cloned to the Max. Forced to smile. Eyes wide open (shut). Bad end for a superstar. Framed by me.

PS concept: whew =) (X-processing, vignetting etc.)

As always: honest feedback highly appreciated.

wow.. that is a lot of garfields :) I like the angle and perspective of the image... good work

...Ziggy Stardust -- If I recall Bowie's hair was kind of orange back then -- great catch -- tell me about PS X-process?? -- at first I thought it was a bunch of Garfield balloons - the color effect you have here reminds me of old color photos in Life or Look magazine before all the current color printing processes .. I like it -- sort of a timeless look. K

A very good angle . Together with the sky ( and the 2 important lamps ) it gives a dramatic impression.
The PS work is very interesting, because the result looks like a Polaroid, which I like a lot.
Excellent

Jan

The sky works perefectly and adds a dramatic feeling that works perfectly with your story. What is allways funny has become a drama :)

It is a bit of a strange effect with PS. It almost looks like a montage, with the sky having been added.

The vignetting is good.

The colours look normal enough, not sure about x-processing. I tend to like my contrast much punchier, but what you've done is cool also.

Thilo Bayer   {K:50301} 11/30/2004
Hi Uwe,

die Einlieferung in die Lasagne-Entzugsklinik war leider der erste Schritt auf dem Weg in den Abgrund ;-)

Having only watched the movie last night this was great to see and certainly brought another smile to my face Thilo :-)

Wonderful capture but if that string breaks there could be a CAT-astrophe ;-)

Best wishes,
Steve

Verena Rentrop   {K:14417} 11/30/2004
snifff

FREEDOM FOR GARFIELD!!!!!!!!!

Thilo Bayer   {K:50301} 11/30/2004
Hi Verena,

Uwe ist ja schon dabei, Amnesty International zu alarmieren. ich bring die heckenschere mit, du das fangnetz?

LG,
Thilo

Thilo Bayer   {K:50301} 11/30/2004
Hi Steve,

if you break that string, it's raining CATs and .... CATs! =)

Thilo Bayer   {K:50301} 12/10/2004
Hi Angelo,

the sky comes from turning back the highlights. no montage, I swear =)

thx for the honest feedback,
thilo

Thilo Bayer   {K:50301} 12/10/2004
Hi Kev,

sorry for the late reply.

I used a filter set called nikefx pro. you will find two x-process filters there. they don't make sense with every color, but my feeling was that it went fine with garfields orange ;-)

take care,
thilo
