Haunting silence.....i always think of the illustration of the baby in the reed basket floating down the river when i see an image from this vantage point...awesome tone,reflections,textures and of course the lighting...very well done,Sassy...love it!...Shameless

Were you out there waist deep in icy water, muck oozing between your toes? It would have been worth it. This is so fine. I really think the decent thing for you to do would be to publish some sort of tutorial so the rest of us would at least have a chance. These are positively intimidating in their greatness.

Christine, you are most definitely on a roll - This is absolutely gorgeous! I love the almost monochromatic palette - warm and earthy, and the reflections of the reeds in the still water is amazing! This one's a wall-hanger!

This is so beautiful Cristine!Looking at this image is very soothing. A gourgeous spot, very peaciful and quiet, away from the rush of the city. I can almost hear the silence. You captured a wonderful scene. I love it! Perfectly captured in every sense. The warm colour ar reaaly awesome. I'm adding this to my favorite images.
