I'm adding the photo of the spot where I took this shot and about a hundred more. Particularly the bottom of the metal construction was painted in the most amazing colours. I had never seen so much rust and pealing paint before on one and the same subject. To me, it was fascinating

I like all your old paint abstracts but these from the harbor tower on Sardinia the best because the white unpainting does wonderful things for the vibrance of the colors. Also, I like the simplicity here, the mixing of two elements....the spidery paint runs and the broad brush stroked background. Excellent Emgy!

Hi Emgy, this shot litterally breathes your sign. I cannot think of anyone else posting such an image. Always quite a hurdle to fully assess and maybe an even bigger hurdle to justify in any description, but each and every time very fascinating...
This one somehow seems to be alive; the colour depth and the "ooze" is excellent. In contrast to the previous one, I wouldn't have been able to identify the real life purpose of this if you hadn't shown the actual setting. Great, almost a glazed image. Fascinating indeed...:)

Mi stavo proprio chiedendo come fosse l'originale ;) Brava, hai fatto bene ad allegare la foto della costruzione da cui hai tratto questo bell'astratto, così dovrebbero fare tutti. Sulla foto ho poco da dire, è un'immagine da gustare con gli occhi e basta, posso solo dire che è molto equilibrata e che mi piacciono gli accostamenti cromatici. You have found many different ways of expression using this theme. I think it's even harder to say why one likes or dislikes an abstract than it is to critique a more conventional view. There are no doubt reponsive chords unleashed by the visual cues, but who knows why? I like the bold colors here and the apparent outlining of the white streaks, making them stand out even more.
