Very nice! I like the colors and the way it pulls your eye to the island. Regards, Dwight

Beautiful painting, Tim! I does full justice to your great landscape shots. I like your use of colours in this one.
Dave.

Gregory McLemore   {K:26435} 12/4/2004
Wow, spectacular beauty captured.

Tim  Schumm   {K:28854} 12/4/2004
Hi Dave,
yes the advantage of painting is the ability to crank the color and get away with it .... lol

Alison DuFlon   {K:36557} 12/4/2004
Your painting is very beautiful Tim, the colors you have used and the lighting applied give a beautiful warmth to the picture. I love the way you have captured the movement of the water and the depth with the color changes. Alison

Fadel J   {K:13747} 12/4/2004
Very beautiful painting Tim, I love the colors a lot! no wonder now, it was a painter behind that camera!

Daniel Silva   {K:2512} 12/4/2004
beautiful

Rebecca Raybon   {K:26645} 12/4/2004
Beautiful painting, Tim. Now, how much will this one sell for? Just curious. Ya don't have to tell if ya don't want to, of course. But I remember you saying they went up into the thousands.

Tim  Schumm   {K:28854} 12/4/2004
It's no secret...ha-ha...would be hard to stay in business if it was. A 4x4 foot painting goes for $4900.00

Phil McLean   {K:11523} 12/5/2004
Hi Tim, thanks for your comments! I did of course have to check out the photo of this from your portfolio, and I se you have flipped it round (and somewhat enhnaced the colours!). But it was also completely recognisable as one of yours. Really nice interpretation... You know I'd buy one if I could afford it! I have to live off that amount for a year at the moment... Soon I'll have a well-paid job though (next summer)...
Anyway, glad to see you've not forgotten how to paint after all this photography! How long does it take you to do one of these? :)

Richard Dakin   {K:12915} 12/5/2004
Worth every penny.

hey you never know Lee .... a lot of my relitives live near you in Colo. Springs. That is where I was born. It's just about time to come back down there soon. I'll let you know if I do, Maybe we could hook up for a coffee or an outing with the cameras.

Tim Donnel   {K:1072} 12/13/2004
Nice work...interesting to see the transformation to canvas. I especially like the colors in the forground (shallow water over rocks looks great)

Nour El Refai   {K:12631} 1/6/2005
A photographer and a painter have the same eye but different tools
