About This beautiful statue of Bhudda sits in a not-totally-finished spot at the edge of Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore, directly adjacent to the Jones Falls Expressway.

I noticed that Bhudda appeared to be serenely and graciously blessing the passing motorists and composed my shot, waiting for a *red* vehicle to get a spot of bright color. I was rewarded by Bubba in this pickup truck - thanks Bubba!

I took this photo in early September, the same session when I got in "Trouble over Bridges" - see that blog post at http://therosenblog.blogspot.com/2004/09/trouble-over-bridges.html

Ok Steve I have to ask you, how long did you sit there waiting for the pickup to come into the composition ;-)

Love the title, very original - working with Americans my humo(u)r has been tainted ... not sure if it is for the better or worse lol

Best wishes,
Steve
