Wonderful tones..the lake so placid and the reflection of the bird is great...happy shooting with your new camera, its a good one...u can also look at downloading the alternative firmware for rebel 300D that unlocks all features making it similar to 10D. I like the MLU feature in the new firmware.

At first sight (the thumbnail) the composition looked a bit imbalanced but when I saw the full image (with the bird) I changed my mind... The colours are great, it's an image beautiful in its simplicity.

Fantastico !! A lot of pleasure with your new camera (which i adore, the 300D my cam for more than 3 years now, and i could not miss it for all gold in the world ! ) .. if you need any tips (which i doubt seeing your work), don't hesitate to ask ..
PS: i'm saving for a 400D or 30D as a successor of my 300D.. haven't decided yet which it is going to be ..

it is not just about great composition , beautiful and lovely reflexions and tones , smooth dreamy color balance and mood..., you've made a wonderful moment eternal!
I love the details of lights and reflexions at the horizon , but just a little confused about the lights and shutter speed , the bird and it's reflexion...
