About The suburb that nessles under the earthwork dam that created the reservoir will be washed away if the dam is ever destroyed by earthquakes... I shudder to think what that might mean. I like the exaggerated perspective of the 21mm lens for these steps and the view beyond them.

Another high-quality glimpse of a slice of Tokyo.
Excellent angle and perspective, Roger.
Best regards, Chris

Ah, the 21 is back again ! Nice panoramic overview, fine colours as usually.

A shadowy self-portrait :-)
The green patch on the left does not look like a very steep slope but the stairs show the height nicely. Might have been even better with little people walking on the road. (Speaking of the road, why is it red? Is it clay?)

Matej, I missed my best chance, as a dachshund came charging up the steps, ears flapping wildly, while I was setting up. That would have been great! The red is a special grade of asphalt that has some kind of rubber content. It's soft and slightly bouncy, good for runners.
