Gaja Snover   {K:4462} 12/6/2004
This is great! The disappearing repetitive diagnols are wonderful. Congrats!

Stefan Engström   {K:24473} 12/7/2004
The one white pillar has a great impact here. The large bright triangle in the lower left competes a little with that, but I think the diagonal it provides is good for the composition. Maybe burned in a little?

Marcus Claésson   {K:2179} 12/7/2004
I like them both, but I should chose this one if I have to. Nice tonal range and composition.

Did you buy this building with the Trolls you captured and sold to the circus?

Bradley Prue   {K:30312} 12/7/2004
Hmmm....you so effortlessly move from your stunning colors, straight into a colorless image that is packed with beautiful geometry! The lines and angles are not only interesting; they also seem to lead to a "greater place". Awesome!
...Brad

Rebecca Raybon   {K:26655} 12/7/2004
Lovely composition and tones. Very well done.

Jeanette Hägglund   {K:59907} 12/7/2004
John - how could you guess so correctly :)

John Griep   {K:2518} 12/7/2004
Hi Jeanette,
Like the B&W version better than the color one.
Think it's much stronger.
Guess we're in the same mood ;-)

here i see the beginning of never-ending..

Richard Thornton   {K:26442} 12/7/2004
An impressive abstract that has a lot going for it. There are, of course, strong diagonals (in two directions) creating some tension. There is repetition of forms. There is a good tonal range and excellent differentiation of tones, too. There is good sharpness on the closest features. As for a mood ? this somehow reminds me of a 1930's black and white science-fiction movie. Who knows why? Not me.

Patrick Jacobson   {K:29151} 12/7/2004
My favorite so far... great! =) Very nice lines and perspective! 7

Thankyou Richard, that association to science-fiction was great - because I like science-fiction :)

Jeanette

Antonio Trincone   {K:23167} 12/7/2004
YES! much more strong photo with respect to the previous version

Robert Gaither   {K:29248} 12/7/2004
This one looks fine. I like it. I'll take a look at the other one.

Riccardo Corsini   {K:17796} 12/7/2004
Complimenti, tre immagini di una geometria pulita, razionale, molto belle, ottimo il B/N
Ciao Ric.

Pat Ziegler   {K:21372} 12/8/2004
Jeanette: You have a great eye for Geometry and architecture. These photos taken by most would be boring. You, however, use the angles and geometric relationships to compose excellent and interesting photographs that seem to strike a harmonious tone.. I would like to see the same approach with curves... Excellent portfolio!

Mitchell Miller   {K:3016} 12/8/2004
Wow!!!!!!!!!!!I want this on my WALL!!!!! -Mitch

B:)liana    {K:30945} 12/8/2004

Thank you my dear Friend!
Kisses, and Hugs, Biliana

Thilo Bayer   {K:50301} 12/8/2004
Hi Jeanette,

yeah! =)

my feeling is that this one is more focussed than the other... which is a great alternative imho.

glad you made it.

S.D Holmes   {K:7075} 12/9/2004

Rocco T   {K:3373} 12/9/2004
Excellent! Good contrast and graphical effect.
I prefer this version.

Fabrice Gourbilleau   {K:53288} 12/10/2004
Nice angle of capture Jeanette. I like it in B&W... Congrats

Carlheinz Bayer   {K:14220} 12/10/2004
Composition-wise it's pretty cool. I like the b&w more. Couldn't resist to think about a change and have something like a duplex toning in mind with a dark chocolate brown and a warm light beige-yellow with a little pumped up contrast.
CB

Jeanette Hägglund   {K:59907} 12/11/2004
Well Carlheinz, do one (you are the expert of that, I can judge that of your suggestion!) and post it so I can see for my self :)

Jeanette

Marcio Galvão   {K:2149} 12/11/2004
Another very good perspective shot. Congrats!

Carlheinz Bayer   {K:14220} 12/12/2004
OK! I would not claim, that this is better. It is just what I had in mind as a alternative. Hope the upload works!
CB

Jeanette Hägglund   {K:59907} 12/12/2004
Carlheinz - that is really a great effect, both beautiful and cool and at the same time it seems like something I could eat :) The lightest part in your version is more highlighten, and that is very good. Hey man, i think you have to teach me to use PS in a more perfect manner (perfect=artistical). I?m just a "dark-room" professional!!!!

Thankyou Carlheinz for the work and sharing!

:)

Jeanette

Carlheinz Bayer   {K:14220} 12/13/2004
Hey Jeanette! The step from a "real" darkroom pro to a digital darkroom pro is not so huge. A good book and some hours of trial and error and you should see already results. The challenge is to have the result in mind when you start working...
Have a great day!

Miguel Ángel Haro-Provinciale   {K:3149} 12/18/2004
Nice details and tones. Architecture details are a nice subject.

regards,

Alastair Bell   {K:29571} 1/2/2005
Beautiful architectural and geometric image. Central beam may be a trifle over exposed but still tremendous! Good work!

Stephen Bowden   {K:64516} 1/22/2005
Fabulous perspective Jeanette and the toning is excellent :-)

Best wishes,
Steve

Marcio Galvão   {K:2149} 2/1/2005
