This is a great study about effects of depth, lines and tones contrast!
You give some kind of optical effects of Escher works.
Amazed.

Hi Jaenette,
this is a interesting series!
Like the perspective and the line can give different effects.

emily savva   {K:21113} 12/15/2004
again the concrete lines are excemplified through an unusual perspective and a soft toning that only natural lighting can give... personally, i find the harshness of urban architecture very interesting if ones knows where to look for and approach the subject with the same respect as it would do with a human portrait... after all, these buildings are part of a city?s face that one lives in... it is only a matter of a sensitive look and the beauty is revealed... love these last four pics for their almost monochromatic result that end up to form yet another beautiful series... well done once again dear Jeanette... Uppsala thanks you from her heart (i don?t know but i regard your city as a female... when i have visited it - briefly unfortunately - two years ago... it was full of life - especially the university area with all these ancient rune stones standing proudly and the students relaxing among them - that reminded me of a huge knowledge cradle of a happy mother!!!!)... really great work... emy :)

Jeanette Hägglund   {K:59985} 12/15/2004
It?s a pitty Emy that i did not know about you while you was here.... Well - IF you come back to Uppsala i would be happy to meet you. So if you decide to make a new visit - PLEASE tell me!

A hug,
Jeanette

nice geometrical approach... is it hte ceiling?

Jeanette Hägglund   {K:59985} 2/1/2005
Hi Sam! No it?s not the ceiling, it?s a part of the wall - like "wings"!!!!
