This is a very effective composition. The curving line is especially wonderful.

Antonio,
un soggetto decisamente inusuale. Un bel B&W giocato sui riflessi.

Hi Antonio, The ting that grabs my attention in this shot is not so much the floating tank, but the string of rope that keeps it in place, the refraction in ths gently ripples is awesome. Very well captured, and not a common sight; creative! The B&W tonal range is well balanced, but a part of me is guessing about the idea behind the B&W conversion; would love to see the colour one in comparison...:)

Cheers,

Hugo

Thanks for showing, Antonio, It all falls into place now... With the slightly burned out spot in the center (or so it looks) The B&W is the best choice, I think... The B&W one also places more emphasis on the rope, which is very nice. Good call!

Cheers,

Hugo

Le foto semplci restano sempre le piu' belle! E qui c'e' tutto, c'e' la riflessione ma anche la trasparenza, cè il filo che collega al basso e c'e' pure il leggero movimento delle ondine., complimenti

Dont quite know why i like this pic so much, but I really like the string under the water holding the float in place for some reason!
Definitely prefer it in black and white, adds a sad feeling to it but I like the fact that the water is smooth and dark.
Very good composition
Nice one!
