About This very pleasant park at the south end of Hoboken, NJ was built over the ruins of century-old shipping piers. The piers had been long abandoned and were a blight on the town when I went to school in Hoboken 1967-71. Imagine my delight in finding this beautiful park in their place during a visit this past summer.

I found this one while spelunking in some CD-ROMs I burned over the past few months. Originally shot in color, I think it does much better in B&W.

Steve, first I saw the thumbnail, I thought the triangular shape was a perspective road to the tall building...lol! Good composition. This triangular roof accentuates well with the rectangular shapes in the background, while the tree also did the same thing in term of the harmony between nature and modernization. Rich picture! Congrats!

My daughter lives in Hoboken so I know where this is. Bettein B&W and a very nice shot. Just walk around Hoboken-ther are hundreds of photo ops as I have found.
