Great image! Love the way the surface of the water is disturbed by the pelicans wing... Pity there isn't more reflection though....

Nice...I also like how the tip of his wing grazed the water.
Pelicans are fun to shoot (picture) beautiful bird and they look like a b52 bomber when flying.
I do like the darkness of this shot, the white of these birds can create a bit of trouble to shoot at times.

Wow James, you did upload quite a few images the last few days. I'm far behind in commenting your shots. It's a good shot with very nice backlighting. The composition is very good and the wingtip of the pelican wich just toucht the water, adds to the scene. Fine capture....Best regards, Harry
