About The sand heats up to extreme highs in the midst of the tropical summer.

The locals have practiced this ceremonial dance for thousands of years, and have become quite adept at moving swiftly across... the BURNING SAND.

This is not exactly based on fact, but rather fiction.

Cenk KIRBAS   {K:1739} 12/14/2004
Interesting. I like the still capture and the light. Maybe I would crop the boat out of the picture to make it more focus on the movement of the guy. Regards

Cenk KIRBAS   {K:1739} 12/14/2004
To be more clear for my comment I meant something like this. I hope you like it. Cheers

HA! GREAT!!

Amazing, Heath, really! For the colors, composition, timing (essential here) but, specially mood/humor. Congratulations, VERY well done! Which, by the way, is no news coming from you ;-)

Cool location too.

Best regards,

Jose Azevedo

CAGATAY ATASAGUN   {K:23967} 12/14/2004
Dear Heath,

Congratulations great shot for this movement in the sky .. I would like to know in which mode you did shot ( if you don't mind) I assume that you did this shot by manuel mood. If it were auto, it could be a focusing problem ..
18 / 70 is a good choise .. If it were 70 / 200 or 28 / 200 there could a focusing time problem in auto mood .. ( maybe I am wrong )

Anyway, I liked this shot much.. Now I'll say 1let the summer and sunshine come" I wanna jump and swim :))

Congratulations and best wishes,
CAgatay

Hey, great photograph. You have lots of success taking pictures of "local yoof". A wonderfully cheerful picture, this, and I particularly like how you caught the lad right at a moment when he looks totally out-of-control physically.

Hello Heath, I've been on holidays for about 4 weeks and that is why I did not upload any photos for a while. Saw those guys jumping and thought of Dom and you. Did not manage to take photos of them and did not try as you did such magnificent job of it. José
