Don't keep putting yourself down Sam...this is all experimenting...and fun!
Look at the balance of the image, the colors, the texture and the composition. This is a beautiful piece of abstract work. My only suggestion would be in the cropping. Maybe a little could be removed from the lower say around a fifth.

I find the pic interesting. It is a nice soft abstract that allows one to linger in thought. I agree about the cropping comment.

This photo has been very succesful, simply because you cant just glimpse past it!
