Very nice composition and the light is perfect, a low angle of it and at the same time cloudy. Some rays shining for THEM.

Jeanette

Great BW shot Rebecca....the span of tones work really well. I would probably delete the white column in the background and the bit of tree branch on the left side. Nevertheless lovely picture.

Have a great Xmas and New Year and many thanks for your comments this year. Kepp them coming for 2005!

All the best to you and the family

Manu

Waiting for the background shots now.
This is the boss with his minions. They speak so slowly we cannot hear. I wouldn't expect you to know that. He has Great Hair.

Well, at least the non-guest-speaker has a captive audience! :) Nice, moody shot with only the columns and gravestones highlighted by the low sun. I love the clouds in this one!

Fadel J   {K:13605} 12/17/2004
Amazing lighting and tones Rebecca! I love how the tree come out behind the dome.

Stephen Bowden   {K:64519} 12/17/2004
No not at all tired Rebecca, just amazed :-)

Another fabulous photograph, the toning is great and it looks super in B&W.

Del Metheny   {K:25369} 12/17/2004
I wonder what you would have done if one of the local residents would have decided to take the podium and start speaking. The lighting is great, I love it reflecting off of the stones while leaving every thing else subdued. Del.

Dave Stacey   {K:117108} 12/17/2004
Great lights and shadows, Rebecca!I guess we'll have to wait a few monthes for the speaker!
Dave.

Jimmy Payne   {K:21163} 12/18/2004
I'm not getting tired of your old city cemetery. Keep'em coming. But, I tell you for sure - you'll have to go some to beat this photo. The light, shadows, and tonal range along with the depth of field really make this one zing!
Jimmy

I might get tired of this place but I sure would never get tired of your pictures of it. You make them so dramatic and strong they just grab us by the eyeballs and hold us there. Wonderful lighting with the sun on the structure but dark clouds in the sky. Excellent.

Dorothy Di Liddo   {K:13766} 12/18/2004
Sad & lonely, but damn great shot. Dottie

The light is absolutely beautiful.. I like the way you capture this "scene". Just a small remark.. The structure is a little bit tilted..
Congrats
