Great shot. Must have been fairly early/late to get a shot like that with the technical info given. I love the time movement shown. However, I find the leaves to be a bit dull. Not sure that could be helped, but it's still something I noticed. I do like the color in the water though.

Great work, thanks for sharing.

Cheers

Dear Paul, this is a beautiful scene and you captured it a perfect way. Great work.

beautiful shot. looks quite surreal. Did you use a polariser or similar filter to allow for such a long exposure?

I like the affect on the water very much.
The detail of the ice and rocks is very good.
Well done.

Hello all. First, thank you for the nice comments about this image.

Yes, I did use a circular polarizing filter to help darken the image. And yes, it was quite late in the day (about 4:00) which helped to allow for the 30 second exposure.

Marcus, I agree that the leaves appear to be quite dull. I actually saturated them in PS in this edited version but for some reason, it didn't seem to translate as well in the upload. I'll check tonight to see what went wrong, but the finished image on my computer looks more saturated and contrasty than this one.

Thanks again, everyone and happy holidays.

Paul
