About This is a recovery scan. With my old Canon 9900F I tried to salvage this capture but never succeeded. I bought an epson 4870 and 'WOW@ very impressive scanner even though its classed as a flatbed film scanner. I left the space above as I like it. I tried cropping but didn't give the same effect that I see here :)

Nice shot,

Just may be a little crop from down the shot might help a bit !
But still great shot,

I like that angle this picture was taken it... it makes the little girl seem so small an a little insecure. Great picture, as always :)

Excellent scan Howie and a wonderful photo - it is amazing what can be salvaged nowadays, particularly with the software too. Only recently I managed to salvage a 20yr old piccie of my flying a C130 Hercules - for all this time I had never been able to see my face.....let alone hair I once had lol

Best wishes,
Steve

Nice photo, love the detail the scanner has been able to rescue from the negative.

It's beautiful! I like the composition as it is, and the interesting depth and style. Plus of course the lovely little model! :-)

This is a great scan of a very well composed shot. Personally I like the way you cropped this. The little girl adds a human element to an otherwise cold image.

Fantastic angle and tones, and I agree about not cropping the top part, it added a lot to the image, another great one Howie!
