About Was I lucky to catch this!

I left my house yesterday to run some errands, fortunately I forgot my ID at home and had to run back. That is when I saw this MASSIVE, strange looking cloud! I grabbed my camera as I grabbed my ID. I was on my way to the post office when I stopped to snap a few photos.... only to find out MY BATTERIES WERE DEAD!! OH NO!! Fortunately there was a gas station right there. I, literally, RAN in and out of the store since the sun was setting and I knew it would be dark SOON. I snapped what I could, then realized it was 5 O'clock and I needed to get to the post office before it closed!! Oops! LOL

No PSP work done here except adding the border.

wow, this looks like heaven's gate opening. Unbelievable colors.
I'm sure you wish you had a wider lens this moment. But then you can try to take two photos and stich them together later.

BTW, I noticed we are not too far away from each other. Maybe we can get together some time.

Yes, I did wish I had a wider lense! In the midst of the madness it didn't even occur to me to take a panorma type shot of it to stitch together in PSP! DUH!

Anyhoo, where are you? Valencia? I know there is another guy here on UF, Richard Thorton, I think? He is in Bakersfield.... about 45 miles from here. He is interested in having a UF get together for people in our area, only he's having trouble finding people in our area! I think it would be a lot of fun, out don't get out much! LOL
