There is so much going on. I don't know how you feel about digital manipulation but i think the cloning of wing tip on the left would make this great picture even better.

Thanks Christian. I am a great fan of digital manipulation..no problems with it at all. In fact, the background blur is compliments of PS. I agree with you and had considered cloning the wing out. But something made me keep it there. It's funny, but sometimes I feel like the manipulation spoils the honesty of an image. But when I'm doing portraiture and there's a piece of trash on the ground that is out of reach, I think..."I'll just clone that out along with that ugly stopsign later." Sometimes you feel like a nut...sometimes you don't. T.

Hi Toni, immensly dynamic shot, and i think converting it to B&W is an excellent choice, preserving the colour would only be redundant to the dynamism and tensioon in this shot. Very well captured!

Toni,I am just so impressed spending more time looking through you portfolio, wonderful compositions as well as such proficient PS work.
This is a great capture,I like the boys placement escaping the waves AND almost the picture, and the gulls going the other dirrection,particularly the uppermost bird which adds so much to the shot. I think you might have considered cloning the portion of bird on left but imagine it's been mentioned already in the 51 comments;)
