About I was trying to capture the shimmer of the makeup and get a nice soft effect. No flash used, and slow shutter.

Thanks, Mark and Howie!

I tried using no flash and a slower shutter to get a "soft" look and try to capture the shimmer in the makeup!

I appreciate your comments!

I think this is the most effective of the three shots, if you're going for a soft focus look...mainly because your expression in the other two isn't as fitting as this one. I'm guessing these are were self-portraits...I imagine the right model agency could make $$$ working w/ you. I have little experience on the photogrphy side w/ fashion, but advertising design brings me into that side of things - and to me the most important thing in a model is her expression....lighting, etc., in a big way is secondary.
