This sizeable turtle was attempting to climb out of the water onto this log... he tried for about 15 minutes... each time falling backwards into the water because his little legs couldn't quite give him the leverage he needed. He finally ended up swimming off to a more reasonable exit point. Thought he was just cute as can be... so I snapped his pic.
Picture was shot from the opposite bank of the spring channel (approx. 200 ft away) with a 2x converter added to the lense mentioned above
