About After amusing me with a photo shoot of about 5 minutes, this big guy wanted to venture out of his hole and closer to the camera. I wasn't too fond of the idea since racoons are natural carriers of rabies. This was the last picture I got of him...

Nice shot. From the top left part of the photo it seems that the Coon was in a cage. In that case u needn't be afraid of a bite or getting rabies. Cheers

this racoon is not in a cage... the fence you see in the background in the upper left corner is the perimeter fence around my apartment complex... from me to the racoon was only about 10 feet and no barrier between us.
