About I saw this setting across a meadow near Flagstaff, Az. I used a 28-200 mm lens at 200mm. I liked the starkness of the aspen with just a bit of fall color holding on.

Nice find. I really enjoy the balance of colors and lines. It has a great feel to it. The only thing I would like to see different is the yellow colors of the trees stand out a little more. Really give a contrast to the background.

Nice composition, Don! I like the contrasts between the bare trunks of the aspens and the foliage, as well as the conifers.
Dave.

A pleasantly different autumn photo, all the more effective because of the limited range of colours and the sharp contrast between the dark green pines and the bright flicker of light of the aspen leaves.

Beautiful Don - like holding on till the last moment. Great ash-grey tones, makes the yellow and green stand out.

Great contrast with the tree on the right, from the thumbnail it almost looked as though it was heavy rain, so many trees Great composition

Great image Don. I love the contrasting colours. The tall spindly trunks always intrigue me.
