Excellent. Love the composition and the detail is very good. Also like the light and no blown out highlights :)

Thanks Howie, who needs the S3? :-)

Nice composition and toning, the door works really well as a frame. I like the rest of your work too )

I just played with this in colour. I think I like it better but what about the crop?

trying the attachment again

Excellent shot, Louise, very emotional and elegant. Great moment... I like it with a color too, red rose - wonderful red spot - add some feeling. Stunning photo.
I wish you Happy Holidays and many great shots in a New Year.

I think I prefer this in color. Somehow it makes her look a little happier...

S3? What's that? We have a highway out in the desert here that's called S2. Haven't seen S3 yet. Might be over by Brawley near El Centro.

Anyway, about this photo...I now know why I like the color version better. The red roses and the warm skin tones. The sepia is nice mind you. Very nice. Something about the color version is just nice-er.

Almost New Years out your way!

Have a happy one.

Hi Louise, thanks for your earlier comment on my own pic. I have gone back and tried several crops and am seeing what I like.

For this I definately prefer the featured crop you first used as it shows that great door in the background. I also like the desaturated approach as well. I have cropped just a tad bit off the door and warmed the hue a bit with some more red. Hope you like.
