About Looking strait up is often a very interesting view when diving. Your whole balance is already kind of limited under water, but when you turn bell up and look at this beautiful light, you might totally loose track of time and space.

Great shot. First I thougt it is kind of reflections, but ... never saw such an interesting perspective for the rays of light.

wow, thanks! I love cats. I always hope to see a mountain lion here, but then people tell me they are dagerous and attacked people on bikes.

VERY COOL image, I'm having a good time browsing your portfolio! You do have a good eye for composition,
Lori ;)

David Hofmann   {K:23763} 3/25/2005
thanks very much Lori. I'm very honored. Your portfolio is incredible. I will need more time to look through it. Usually I browse through thumbnails and pick individual photos I like. In your case I want to see almost every single photo. I really miss the option to go from one full size view to the next in a portfolio. :)

Hi again David.

I asked you on one of your earlier shots (dolphins) if a polarizer would have helped underwater. I also wanted to ask about a haze filter. What are your thoughts? I love your portfolio. Your style is unique.

David Hofmann   {K:23763} 1/26/2006
Hi Tom,

I wouldn't use any filter under water. I think haze filters only filter out UV light which helps getting a little better contrast in landscapes. I don't think it would do anything under water.
