I am glad someone got some nice shots of the fireworks. It is our bicentenial year here in Las Vegas and they put on the largest fireworks show ever. I am like a kid...I thought I remembered the fireworks lighting up the entire sky, but in reality, this is all there was from a distance. Hehehehehe In any event - Happy New Year.
If you look really hard, you can see the Stratosphere Hotel on the far left and the Luxor Hotel (beam of light) on the far right.

I am sad. I froze and saw nothing. I kept my husband up after he worked all day, to see that. I like your photos better.
