About Funeral processions used to take this way ( along the wall ) to the cemetery... so this path is called the Deadman?s Walk.

This is gorgeous Jan. Love the composition light and detail. I must try some Velvia 50 sometime. Mind you, I've only just invested in some Velvia 100F LOL. I've shot my first three rolls of slides so waiting for them to come back.

Very beautiful building! Looks so typichally English! And what a marvelous sky! Together with those cold naked branches from the trees it really does give a spooky feeling. So you have just been to England too? (We have, and came home yesterday) Or was this an old photo, taken 1264? ;-))

Hi Jan, Merton College, heh? Could've sworn this was Christ church... Love that city, though. The purple tone in the sky adds alot to the image. Very familiar, not only the city, but also the way you captured it!
