don, very interesting composition. without your "about" i would still be scratching my head ;^) it's almost as if this is a technical drawing for a machine for which only that one pulley was ever completed. very cool and very intriguing. great job!

You are so good at making these really interesting images by using the bas relief, I must find time to look into it, and try and see if I can do something similar. The trouble is you need the eye to spot the potential even before trying to master the method. Congrats on another splended image
