It seemed to me like Bahamis at start, and that you had entered new year on a warm place...
It's UK so i see now...
nice peace of coast with wonderfull composition and action added into image with a boat.

The rocks come out beautifully - but I get the impression there may have been greater contrast in water colours, with a distinct turqoise in the foreground that could be enhanced?

Beautiful - and it would have been even without the boat. The water in the foreground is especially attractive, with the submerged rocks covered in turquoise. The frame sets off the photograph well.
