About I was experimenting with some things yesterday... some funky makeup colors, natural window light, and my mom's camera (which is much nicer than my own).

The light from the window was VERY bright, which kind of washed the skin tones out, but I do like the effect. I added a bit of a diffused glow for effect, but other than the softness, this is pretty close to what the original looked like.

I was very pleased with the outcome of most of these shots, so I will be posting more from this series! Any thoughts, advice, comments.... etc. are welcome!

I like the overall effect of the washed out skin tones and the intense colours. My only advice would be to remove the freckles on the neck as they are a distraction.Just my opinion. An otherwise excellent image.

...i love it! when a subject is this washed out, they become more mannequin-esque and less human. It's a great effect.
