A self-portrait taken at Grand View Point (I believe) at the southern end of the Island in the Sky part of Canyonlands National Park, Oct of 2000. I didn't expect much from this shot and then thought, "Whoa!" Was right at sunset. Camera on Bogen tripod. No, I did not have to jump a huge chasm to get to my perch. :-) (P.S This is a scan off a bad print from a slide. The original is much better in all ways.)
