Appleton skatepark, i thought i reconized that place. Hey Toby, its very strange but you commented on my dog picture and i looked you up. We seem to have a lot in common. Both went to UWEC and into taking skateboarding pictures. Excellent pictures by the way.
But if you ever want another person to take pictures with message me back.

Tobiah, nice capture (especially at such slow shutter speed). The colours complement very well and the shapes work together to make avery interesting photo. The triangles especially work together well to add motion to the photo.

Thanks Bryan... We thought that green wall would look nice. I think its such an odd color that it works really well with pretty much anything as it turns out to be great contrast for all colors. Does it bother you that the subject is so far left of the photo in this vertical orientation?
Thanks for looking...

Cheers,
Toby

Toby, I don't think it is too much of an issue for the subject to be too far left, although it doesn't quite obay the rule of thirds. I think it possibly enhances the photo in a way (by being a bit extreme) - in the same way that the bright colours stand out. All this extreme emphasises the nature of the sport. I like it like this...

Thanks again Bryan...

Matt,

From the looks of your portfolio, it appears that you do indeed go to Eau Claire. I think every photo student ends up taking pictures off of the ROCK. How's that construction comming anyway... is it going to make the River walk nicer? Do you take classes in the ART dept. or over in the Comm. Dept.
If you see Deidre... tell her Toby said Hi.. she should know how I am. I stopped in not too long ago to see her...
If you want to shoot... i'm always down.. but I live in Milwaukee... so it might be a chore, let me know when your in the area... you can reach me at deutsch@uwm.edu

peace
Toby
