About I decided to take the other version of this down because i felt you couldn't get the full view of the shot since it was so small.

Natural window light, slight diffused glow added.

Hi Melanie, I've just caught up on this series of yours and wanted to add that you have done a super job! Your eyes are incredible!

Love this series but number 5 is my favorite, very striking, well done : )

Green Gemini   {K:3388} 1/6/2005
Ok, this is what I am talking about. That is the look just like in the "I know a secret" shot. What did you use as a backdrop? Great work!!!

Melanie Reynolds   {K:9090} 1/6/2005
I took these when I was at my parents house these past few days. I was in front of a window with their bed in the background. Their comfortor was really pretty shades or dark red, orange, and purple. I think the background was really drown out in most of them because the light was so bright on the skin.

Very nice image. Great composition, sharp, wonderful lighting and tones. Most lovely, remines me of a china doll! All my best, James

You know, with your lean, angular lines, I really think this session works best in portrait, instead of landscape mode.

But...you're still beautiful, Mel. :)~

Thanks, Paul! I realized that after I cut my chin off a few times!! LMAO!

Howie Mudge   {K:27580} 1/6/2005
You have very good cheek bones Melanie and should consider taking up some sort of modelling. This one reminds me of Lord of the Rings and the elf queen (obviously less the ears LOL). Great capture.

Abel Minnée   {K:3769} 1/6/2005
Wow! Looks like an angel...
Make up is very good! And lightning too

Fantastic work!!!!

Cheers

Abel!

Oh!very well composition and thoughtful structures, i admire your talent in composition and use perspective. it is realy amazing how you enhance depth of perspective here with wide lens and close distance to the camera. focusing just on her right eye is a creative idea. DOF has used correctly. colours and sharpness are wonderful.the background is nice with two different contrast in right and left. nice portrait shot.

Very nice work Melanie !

Probably these series are the best selfportrait you do, good "studio" appereance, great lights (doesn't seem natural), great tones, good chose of makeup and obviously a wonderful model ;)
