About A really weird day at the beach - a school of baitfish were in close to the shore, so the seagulls were going crazy and dolphins were swimming between the surfers. There was also a sheet of rain approaching in the distance. It was very surreal.

Great grainy effect, like the composition has a real day out at the beach look.

magic light. You can kind of see what you described. The only thing is the boy on the right. He should be either in frame or completely out.

Excellent shot and beautiful sepia tones.

An excellent photo that looks like it should be exhibited in a gallery on a large print together with other pics with the same theme. I think it is a little too grainy for me, just a little too distracting, otherwise a perfect shoot with great timing.

Surreal is right? and you got the shot! Excellent beach scene Margaret.
I kind of agree with Andrew?s bit about the grain ? but don?t matter.
The mood and strangeness is what counts here.

How odd to see .. like it, your shot depicts the surreal atmosphere very well !

Margaret, I really like this photo! Lots of movement and mood, and a poetic feel as well. Stories could be written about this one! I like the grain. Amy

Great shot and nice grainy effect...It is a shame the man in the foreground for me as he attracts the eye..
Anyway, this is really well done
Cheers Margaret
