Hi Ranjan, awesome shot. The geometry and space of this place is stunning, and I love the use of lighting, the combination of cool colours and warm colours fit very well. Great shot!

Cheers,

Hugo

What an awesome building!
You have captured this symmetry with a surreal framing and splendid exposure.

Paul Eggerling-Boeck   {K:503} 1/7/2005
Awesome shot Ranjan! How did you arrange for there to be only two people in that space?

Great work my friend!

The architecture is stunning.I feel like I am looking at the interior decoration of some space ships as we see in SF movies. This is a great shot. The image has an almost perfect symmetry, the tones are fantastic and the reflection effects give just the extra touch that make this a fascinating foto.
I love it! - It's a favorite
Congratulation on the POTD award

Fantastic the local !!!!!!!!!!

Evelyn Mayes   {K:8132} 2/4/2005
Fascinating picture -- Ditto for everything Hugo de Wolf said below! Plus having the two men silouetted so small; talking -- brings the personal element in and makes me wonder what they are discussing. Well done!

Shane O'Neill   {K:3064} 2/4/2005
great shot - the focal point of the 2 people make it a classic. 7/7

It doesn't get much better than this! The human subjects lost in this architectural bliss.

Ranjan,
Great shot. I took one like it a couple of years ago. The outside of the museum is as impressive as the inside. The museum's moving wings above this hall are not usually open at night but there was a party for the MLB Allstar game on the Museum grounds a couple of years ago. The Wings were open and they were setting up for the next night's lightshow. I've only posted one image of it but I took 3 or 4 roles of slides while they ran the light test. I'll have to post some more.

I will be in Milwaukee this weekend. What a great town to make photos in! Can you believe that I lived there when this wing of the museum opened and never saw the whole thing!? I did see the O'Keefe show before the whole things was opened, but then my membership ran out, oh well, I'll see it soon. Nice shot!

Shane O'Neill   {K:3064} 3/4/2006
I said it before and I'll say it agin - a classic

Joel Aron   {K:14920} 3/4/2006

Wonderful architecture and a stunning picture with subtle colours, perfect vantage point and powerful composition. The two people show us the enormous scale of this building and add a human touch that saves it from being too cool and clinical. Not a word I use very often, but, WOW! Another for my favourites...

Kambiz K   {K:37420} 3/4/2006
wonderful lighting with very nice capture of those beautiful strong sexy curves.
WOULD you please write me the name of this building and if there is a wed site for it. thanks
