About I often thought about leaving [ ]. I often thought about just announcing the fact and go, like a child of seventeen.
Reality was I did not want an arbitrarily new life elsewhere as I could not imagine myself being so alone. Hence, when my London life ran out on me, I forced myself and called him.

You do not necessarily meet a lot of people in this world. Not when you let yourself distracted by music and the passing of hours.

[improper use of daylight film to get green colour cast]

Original as always...Seems like nobody cares you take a picture, and it seems like you were on something high, like a chair probably..That is odd...Did you pay the people to pose for you?:)
Great job Aira

Ciao Aira,
7+++

Adolfo

There are people who leave and there are people who stay. There are people who make big pronouncements that are ignored because they never act on them. You can take the girl out of London, but you can't take London out of the girl. All undergrounds are the same anyway, people like sardines, softening in the oil of tin cans. Grab the red handle and hang on until the end of the line. When it stops swaying, you're there. It's in front of your nose. Go on, grab it!

Hugo de Wolf   {K:185017} 1/10/2005
Hi Aira, this image evokes alot of feelings. First of all is the completely unpleasant green tone, which makes the eye look for a refuge, found in the red handles. Safety at last... But then, isn't red the colour of alarm? Love that conflict in this photo. But for expressing this theme, I would expect the handles to be placed more to the center of the image... Complete panic strikes. Where to escape to?

Sorry, I'm getting carried away; I was just thinking out loud about this photo. Besides the that feeling of unease I get from this photo, I like the dynamism and movement in it. It makes the image even stronger. Great shot. The tension is tremendous and unbearable...

Cheers,

Hugo

emily savva   {K:21113} 1/13/2005
striking colors and exceptional use of blur... it seems like these moments when one is lost in thoughts and suddenly wakes in reality with a bad taste... can?t focus easily... emotional "about" that makes the image even stronger... excellent work... emy

It' so hard take an original and with a precise message photo in metro! you have succedeed in doing it in a very superb manner! i feel the fully sense of modern society alienation and loneliless among people.
Compliments,
M
