Prefer this to "Thawing", largely because of the wonderful pattern of the walls on the hillside. Perhaps the trees on the top of the hill could be slightly more off-centre. I don't mind the top of the wall at the bottom of the image - but you can always crop it if it bothers you...

I agree I do tend to centre the thing I am interested in. Unfortunately, in life I have a mathematical, rather than artistic background! Thanks for taking the time to comment & I will try to bear in mind what you have said in the future.
