Its beautiful, Love the Glow! It does have a bit of a renaissance look to it...maybe try making the flowers in her hair a bit brighter would give it more of an oil paint look(like the paintings of that time...) How did you add wings in photoshop?? I have ps CS...and i really have no clue how to do anything with it....im trying to figure it out!
Beautiful work here.

Hi Corrie - thanks for the comment. It is a simple matter of copy & pasting them into the image, and adding a layer mask to remove unwanted bits. The wings are photographed separately. I have a whole library of wing negs.

This kind of work can very quickly look kitschy, but not this one. I think it works great. More backlight on the large leaves might have helped to get more nice glow effect overall. The light on her is good. I would have used a photo of her looking up instead of down, but I'm sure you had a reason for that.
Anyway, great work!

This is beautiful. Very original and you did achieve that Renaissance look that you were going for. Superior work!

What makes this so good is that it show no sign of manipulation. Perfect.

Hi Margaret, I think this picture is really beautiful and inspired, I love the way the light is touching her wings, beautiful colors and composition, I really like your style, I'm a big fan of textures, I'm new in that area, still learning and you're a very good source of inspiration, keep on shooting! and thanks for taking the time tocomment my work :)

The light is beautiful. Excellent composition, and the soft muted tones are superb. The wings are gorgeous -- how did you render them? A favorite (along with the other two I've commented on just before this one)! Antonia
