About April shooting in an IPDA Match.
The lighting in the shot was splendid in the early morning, but I was bummed when the image was out of focus. :(
I jumped into Photoshop to make some lemonoaide instead.

Interesting PS technique. It reminds me of a movie poster.

Very creative work. HIgh contrast works well here. I'm not so sure, though, that I wouldn't desat all the colors and leave it black and white. You might try it. :)

I like your lemonaid very much!
I've seen images like this in contemporary galleries!

Well done,
Lori :)

I did try that, but this is not really saturation; I used Photoshop's Threshold function, which moves all mid-tones to pure black or pure white.

Great pic. I find it interesting that this was an IDPA meet, as it looks like a Ruger MkII being shot. Oh well, I guess you were shooting her while she was shooting paper (or steel, or wood or something).

Thanks for sharing.

Cheers

Nice one Paul! It's really very graphic and simple.

Paul Lara   {K:86876} 1/10/2005
Yes, she was shooting .22 at the time.

Well how about that. I picked out the firearm with that little detail. Guess I'm not as rust on shooting guns as I am on shooting film.

Thanks again for the great images, and comments.

You hit a home run here, Paul.....or should I say, you hit a BULLSEYE!

Great treatment here Paul. I love the contrast you used with selective color. I have saved a few lemons that way too - thank you for your comment elsewhere...

Hi Paul,
Great intervention with PS and I love the metaphor that you used for these type of photos; lemons--lemonades. thanks for your comment on my recent photo.
