What a cool photo!
don't leave us hanging like that, Lee.
Not too many times I can begin a story with, "so, as the bat is muching the grub in my gloved hand..."

You won't believe how close you are. This little guy was orphaned and I was his foster parent. Mealworms are not part of their normal diet and catching flying insects wasn't one of my skills. So we compromised. I taught him how to eat mealworms. His teeth are pretty sharp so the glove is for my protection. Bats are really gentle creatures. I fostered and released several hundred over the years.

Awesome!
We have always set up bat houses where we live. I love the guys!

Very cute... he looks happy with his snack!

Excellent.

There's a radio station in the UK (Radio 2) and the morning presenters (Terry Wogan and crew) are always of the opinion that anything unusual always tastes more like chicken than chicken does.

Sort of goes with your title! Made me laugh!

Good on you.
