About I used very low lighting (a lamp) with no tripod. I did some softening in PSP to even out the skin tone.

I did my best with what little resources I had!

(The spots on the inner corners of the eye are RHINESTONES!!)

Melanie,

This shoot and the one before are very nice. Great skin tones, nice model. There seems to be a little white speck in the corner of your models eye. It's in both pictures. I love the style of these pictures.

The white speck is a little diamond! LOL They didn't show up on the inner corners of the eye as planned.

Thank youf for your comment! The model is my sister!

Thank you, Marta! I am not a makeup artist, but would love to be someday! It is something I really enjoy doing!

When it comes to filtering or softening a protrait, I find it helps if you'll restore sharpness to the eyes and lips, it makes it more compelling.

just sayin...

Melanie Reynolds   {K:9090} 1/12/2005
I actually DID do that, but the image was slightly "soft" already due to the low light and no tripod (

Very good angle and composition. The hair gives the feeling of a thirties movie star. Like it :)
