I love this. What a perfect use for a holga. The perspective is wonderful, and I love how the tracks disappear into the fog. The dark edges of the photo only enhance the lines and perspective.
Wonderful!

This shot reminds me many things: 1) History: the great financial crisis in the Twenty 2)movies inspired by, in particuoular way "O Brother, Where Art Thou?" By Joel and Ethan Coen, i hope u know it. The mood is perfect, i don't know way but rails reminds me to an escape from a bad situation. Another great one Bea... i got to buy a Holga... yes i got to do it :) Regards E.

beautiful shot, Bea. I love how the vingetting makes me feel as though i've just followed the tracks out of a tunnel. There's a kind of spooky, haunting feeling to this piece - an unknowingness of what's to come.

Bea, this is one omy favorite holgaroid shots of yours! Wonderful perspective -- the tracks lead to some mysterious and unknown destination, made even more mysterious by the holga's unique blur and vignetting.

Surprising sharpness in the foreground for a plastic lens. Beautifully smooth transition from sharpness to blurriness in the fog. I really like the brown tones as well. Good move not to run the picture straight down the tracks, makes it much more interesting perspectivally. The vignetting works perfectly. Excellent! Rgds, Svend

Bea, I have a question about the Holgaroid...do you use the conversion lens that goes with the Polaroid back? I bought a Polaroid back on ebay, and it comes with the conversion lens. It appears to make the Holga lens into somewhat of a wide-angle. Thanks,
Mark
