mmmmmhh... first thing to say: it is too half and a half. Half sky and half sea: too flat, too static comp. And the boat: too in the middle. Static. Nothing whch could grab any attention. Sorry mate, this is my honest opinion, take it for what is worth and forgive me if you can. ;-)

If you crop it so the boat is in the lower right corner, the picture then becomes one of the boat challenging the storm!

I like the color/BW combo.

Very nice capture Efi,IMO leaving the sky in natural color could be more efecive here

thanks for comments. but before this detailed critics you should ask yourself may be all this stuff you listed is intentional?! let me explain -
i feel that always prior to storm everything in around become static and still like waiting for something to happened. and this stillness i tried to express by breaking the rules you've mentioned
