dear Roberto, as the distance of focus approaches to the small end points of the flower, and leaves the rest as out of focus; overall view came out blurry.. It might be useful to re-shot for the whole flower clearity. further, you might have chosen a special effect by doing that and have an artistic approach by only focusing on the tips.. ok I do have a full respect for that as well.. best wishes..

I think that focus and DoF on this one are perfect!
This way you get a much better '3D' efect - it's clearly a sphere!
The only thing that bothers me a bit is the sky. I think it would look better on a fully green background.

Wow! I second aydin's comments. The shallow focus produces a painterly effect - the stamens in focus really pop out of the pink background.
Of course, it would be nice to also see another version with the entire flower in focus.
