About Hi first of all if the picture seem dark to you pls turn up your monitor contrast.

I was searching through my pile of photos to use for my wedding souvenir and found this in one of the old folders.

This photo has no other editing besides contrast/brightness control and cropping because my camera does not do panoramics.

This picture was taken about midday with harsh sun right on top of the harbour reflecting bright lights. Here I used my $5 sunnies as filter (purchased from Bali and no longer exist because some one accidently sat on it!) It was challenging adjusting the shutter speed with one hand while holding the glasses up to the lens at an angle where the light does not make any flares. :)

Great composition, Ben. Very panoramic and moody. Nice silhouette, as well. Congratulations, my friend.
Cheers,
Hanggan

Hehe...well done and very original setup. Sometimes the simple methods are the best. Good luck my friend.

Awesome shot, the cropping makes it very strong. Well done.

Marian, thankyou my friend! Sometime you just wish you could dream away..
"Say 'nighty-night' and kiss me
Just hold me tight and tell me you'll miss me
While I'm alone and blue as can be
Dream a little dream of me" -Mamas&Papas-

Thankyou Judi!
Now that you mentioned it, I should have kept the broken glasses to use as filter :)

Ben Mok   {K:4084} 1/18/2005
I am very glad that you said that Warren! I did a lot of different crops before coming to this conclusion.
Cheers,
Ben

Now that would have been a great idea. Night my friend.

And you will be fine. Have faith in me.

Thankyou Hanggan!
These are the things that I love about Australia. The fact that you can run free on the streets, sail in the sea, enjoy the clear blue sky (most of the year). Money can't buy them!

Hi there Ben. You have a very interesting porfolio. I love the look of the burned out water in this picture and the way the city sleeps in the background.
