Très bonne composition diagonale ..
En plus le toning en n/b rend l'attention complètement sur l'arbre et l'homme ! Solitude et melancholie ! L'Homme abandonne l'arbre, et va chercher ailleurs ..

the diagonal works nicely and the lighter sky behind the climber creates a welcome contrast that prevents the background from being somehow flat. if this image was mine i think i would clone out the part of the background land? forest? that appears in the bottom right corner behind the tree, in order to make the tree silhouete stand out better. overall this is an image i like ;-)
