I've never seen a lavender field during winter. The archetypal view is a lush lavender coloured field with warm, soft summer tones and atmosphere. Not quite the grim, grey and misty scene you show us here... And that's what makes it tick.

i LOVE what you did to this piece, tim. Funny, i've just been thinking of playing around with b&w & toning on the shots i took there as well...wierd. Anyhow, you've done it so well here - this is a stunning piece, for sure.
